My Story

From burnout to alignment. This is the journey that shaped the Alignment Effect.

I know what burnout feels like.

I know what it’s like to chase what the world calls “success,” only to find yourself hollow at the end of it.

For years, I built a career in the software industry. On the outside, everything looked right. I was leading a strong team, building something that had all the markings of growth and achievement. But behind the scenes, I had no true leadership above me. Only demands. No support, no guidance. I was giving everything to lead my team well, while convincing myself this was success. The truth? I couldn’t have been further from it.

Eventually, it broke me. I burned out hard. And it was only when I stepped away on medical leave that I saw just how far I had drifted from myself.

That time away gave me something more valuable than anything I thought I had lost: clarity.

Even during that leave, I couldn’t ignore what mattered most to me: people. My second-in-command, a friend I had personally recruited, had all my responsibilities dumped onto him without warning the moment I stepped away. I knew what that path led to, because I had walked it.

I wasn’t about to let him suffer the same way.

So I came back. Not for the company, but for him. I jumped in to alleviate his burden, to protect him from the same spiral I had lived through. Helping him avoid that depth of suffering and eventually helping him secure a role at a company with real values and leadership. This lit something inside me.

That was the moment I realized what truly brings me joy: helping people realign with their best selves, protecting them from paths that lead only to burnout, and guiding them toward something greater.

Clarity

Cut through the noise. Get grounded in who you are, what you want, and why it matters.

Purpose

Step with intention. Every action now moves you forward, not in circles.

Direction

Discipline builds lasting momentum. This is about sustainability, not burnout.

From there, everything changed.

I turned inward and began the work of rebuilding myself. Not to fit someone else’s definition of success, but to create my own. I committed to becoming the version of me I had always wished for in a leader.

That meant confronting limiting beliefs head-on.

That meant reshaping my daily routines and mindset into something peaceful, patient, and powerful.

That meant choosing clarity, purpose, and direction as the compass points for my life.

Work no longer feels like an obligation.

It feels like alignment.

Coaching isn’t a job to me; it’s my purpose. Every individual I’ve been able to help reminds me why the struggle was necessary: it was the challenge the universe gave me to grow into the person I was meant to become.

The Alignment Effect was born out of that transformation

For nearly two years, I coached 1:1, refining and sharpening what worked. I used my background in logic and analytics to turn personal growth into something practical and repeatable. Over time, it became more than a method. It became a roadmap.

The roadmap always begins with shifting mindset, the foundation everyone needs before real change can last. From there, it branches into two paths:

The Framework; a self-guided system for disciplined, accountable people who just need a clear plan to execute.

The Accelerator; a hands-on experience for those who want transformation faster, or who struggle with accountability, discipline, or feeling overwhelmed. That’s where I step in directly.

This work represents the greatest accomplishment of my life. Not because of accolades or achievements, but because it aligns who I am with what I give.

My story isn’t unique. Burnout, disconnection, and the search for 'more' are everywhere.

What is unique is the way each of us can realign with our true path when given the right framework.

That’s what the Alignment Effect is about!

It’s not just my story. It’s the key that helped me rebuild mine, and the same key I now offer to others ready to step into clarity, purpose, and direction.

Hustle is Noise. Alignment is Power.
